Simpkins Group has completed construction on a new regional distribution center for Walgreens Co. The 500,000 square foot, 32 clear, cross-dock facility is located on a 26-acre site on Greens Rd., near Bush Intercontinental Airport. Leased to Walgreens Co. on a long-term basis, the building features a highly automated picking and conveyor system.
